Preparing your slides
The slide submission deadline is Friday 11 April for on-demand speakers. As all slides are subject to regulatory review upon submission, we kindly request that the slides you submit are your final slides.
Pre-recording your presentation
If you are an Innovation days Mini Theatre speaker or a Plant & animal breakout speaker, we need to record your presentation in advance of the conference, so that we can perform the necessary post-production editing, upload your talk to the virtual platform, and ensure there are no technical issues. The recording process is very easy, and we will provide as much technical assistance as you require. A speaker briefing and test recording, will take place prior to the recording of your presentation — further information on these sessions can be found in your Welcome email.
We are aiming to complete all speaker briefings by Friday 4 April and to record all presentations by Friday 25 April. If this is not possible, please contact [email protected] as soon as possible to discuss.
We will be recording your presentation via Zoom, but we also need speakers to record their webcam separately. To ensure that you can produce and submit the recording of your presentation as smoothly as possible, please refer to the recording guide below. This guide provides all the information you need on the setup of your webcam and microphone, and ensuring you have a suitable location to record your presentation. For good-quality audio, we recommend the use of a quiet room and headset/lapel microphone placed close to the mouth.
